Cork is one of the major cities of Ireland. Previously, the city was a walled city. Now the city is noted for its many tourist attractions, historical settings and music festivals.
Near Blarney Cork is the place where the famous Blarney Stone. Thousands of tourists visit Blarney Castle each year, a house of more than 500 years old. Going up the 127 steps to the top of the castle, 37 feet high, will find the Blarney Stone, a stone with possible mystical properties allegedly brought from Scotland in 1314.
Cork is a city full of culture. Highlight the many museums, art academies and festivals held throughout the year. The Cork Jazz Festival is held every October since 1978 and brings together the genius of jazz.
Cork architecture known for its Georgian-style buildings. There are still remnants and ruins of medieval buildings, such as Red Abbey. Red Abbey Red Abbey, dating from the fourteenth century, and today only the tower remain central.
The city has two cathedrals, the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Finbarr’s Cathedral. St. Mary’s Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral which dates from 1808. St. Finbarr’s Cathedral, XIX century, is a Protestant cathedral, and is built on an ancient cathedral dating from the seventh century. Above the sanctuary of the cathedral is an elaborate Angel of the Resurrection of copper and gold.
Among the more modern monuments stands the Town Hall was once the tallest building in Ireland. Elysian Tower now holds the post. One of the most famous churches is the Church of Shandon, famous for its tower. The south and west walls of the church are made of white stone typical of the region, while the other two walls are made of red stone. The tower is considered the symbol of the city, and the top is a weather vane of 3.3 meters.
One of the most famous streets in Cork is the street of San Patricio. This street is full of old buildings and the best shops, and is noted for its curved shape. The street takes its original form to the fact that it was originally built on arches over the River Lee. The nearby Grand Parade Avenue is the city’s financial district, full of large companies and offices.
In this city include other tourist attractions such as Elizabeth Fort, Cork Opera or Fitzgerald Park, with a small swamp in the middle. It also highlights the quadrant of the University of Cork, one of the most important institutions of the country. It is worth visiting the UK market, a covered market dating back to 1610.

Pembrokeshire is a region of Wales in the UK. Its green landscape and its proximity to the sea make a picturesque region full of natural attractions and history. Here are the Chronicles of Narnia shot and is shooting part of the latest Harry Potter.
The region is located on the coast, enters the regions of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. The region was founded in 1138, and almost from the beginning to split into two parts, the English-speaking south and the north side, more traditional. The imaginary line that separates them is called Landsker. This created a curious mix of cultures and influences.
The most popular are Tenby and Saundersfoot. Tenby is a fishing town with walls and dating from the thirteenth century. Tenby is situated in Carmarthen Bay. The city is a popular tourist destination due to its 4 miles of beaches. Among its tourist attractions are Arches Gate Five, a historic building, or the church of St. Mary, the fifteenth century. They further point out the many museums and art galleries. When the tide is low, you can visit the Santa Catalina Island, but if you want to surf, you can visit Caldey Island, a popular destination for a day trip.
St. David’s is a small town, possibly the best known of the region. The city on the River Alyn, is the ecclesiastical capital of Wales. Here are the remains of St. David, the patron of the region. The city is the only city in the country that is located within a national park. St. David’s is built around the Cathedral of St. David, and during medieval times was a place that attracted pilgrims. Near the Cathedral is the Bishop’s Palace, dating from the fourteenth century. Nearby is the Cambrian cliff, a place where many come to kayaking or to enjoy the wonderful views. The city is known for the comprehensive range of water sport that offers its visitors.
Highlight the many castles in the area. Formerly many of the castles were used as defenses and military strengths, but later became residence of dukes and earls. One of the most beautiful castles is the Castle Cresswell, Cresswell riverside. Another castle that stands out is Haverfordwest Castle, a thirteenth century castle, formerly a fortress. Llawhaden Castle is another castle typical of this area of Wales.
The highest point of the region is Foel Cwmcerwyn, the Preseli hills. The mountain is located in the National Park Pembrokeshire Coast. This national park is the only country that is located on the coast. Several coves, bays and lakes adorn the coast of the region and attract tourists. Walk highlights the Pembrokeshire Coast, where both tourists and locals enjoy the views surrounded by nature.

Innsbruck is a city of only 100,000 inhabitants located in Tirol, Austria. The city is known for its many buildings full of history and for its skiing.
The city owes its name to the Alte Innbrücke, the bridge over the River Inn near the Altstadt, the oldest part of town. The bridge has existed since 1080.
Innsbruck is located in a valley surrounded by mountains. Which is why we have concluded Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976? Most hotels organize bus service to transport guests to one of the eight major ski resorts close to Brennerpass.
The most prominent mountains in the region are Nordkette of 2.334 meters high, Patscherkofel of 2.246 meters high, and Serles, of 2.718 meters in height. The mountains of the region are ideal for winter sports and competitions are organized every year skiing or snowboarding. Some of the tracks that stand out are Axamer Lizum, Igls, Seefeld, Patscherkofel, Stubai Valley or Tulfes. Some of the mountains are covered by a cold ice layer that allows people to ski even during the summer months.
The city is full of museums and galleries. In addition to exhibitions of art from museums during the months of summer there are music festivals, dance and art that adorn the parks and streets. Most of the oldest buildings in this city are now filled with bars, shops and trendy restaurants.
Among the many historic buildings of the region highlights the Goldenes Dachl, an old building from 1500, famous for its golden roof. The roof is decorated with golden tiles 2657 and the handover of the balconies of the building depicts the life of Maximilian I. Kaiserliche also highlights the Hofburg, the Imperial Court and the Altes Landhaus, the former federal parliament.
One of the most prominent buildings is the Hofkirche, the Imperial Church, where the cenotaph of Maximilian I. The church is an impressive gothic monument dating from the XVI century. Another church that stands out is the Dom zu St.Jacob, the Cathedral of St. James.
One of the main streets of the city, full of historical buildings, upscale restaurants and innovative shops, is the Maria-Theresien-Strasse. The Tiroler Landestheater of Innsbruck, one of the most famous theaters in the region. Among the museums located throughout the city include the Riesenrundgemälde, the Tiroler Landesmuseum and the Tiroler Volkskunstmuseum, dedicated to culture and history of the region. The Schloss Ambras is a sixteenth century castle which has now become a museum. Near the castle is a park, the Schlosspark Ambras.
Other sites you should visit this city in the Alps are the Alpenzoo, the Alpine Zoo or the Botanical Garden of the University of Innsbruck. The city is filled with numerous parks and during the warmer months, the two large parks and lakes, and Lansersee Baggersee, are full of people and festivals.

Yakutsk is a city located in Siberia, Russia, and is considered one of the coldest cities in the world. The small city with 200,000 inhabitants is the capital of the Sakha Republic and the largest city in the region. The city is a mix of cultures, home to both the descendants of Russians from the west, which came to the region to work in the mines of gold and diamonds, and the Yakut, who for years were nomadic. The city can reach -55 º C, although the locals are accustomed to such frigid temperatures.
The city, founded in 1632, initially was a strong Cossack. He later became a prominent city where, in the nineteenth century, were discovered gold and diamond mines. Now here are many companies engaged in mining of these two materials.
The city even today is a mixture of traditional cultures. While many traditions were lost during the years before perestroika, the Evenki and Yakut still form an important part of the population. The Yakut Turkic peoples from northern and central Eurasia, and have historically been devoted to hunting, fishing and reindeer herding and horses. Today you can see traditional houses, or yurts, in nearby towns. Several of them preserve the tradition of olonkho, a traditional form of writing and reciting poetry on the life of the people of Sakha. Another trend is important are the ewenki, another nomadic people who lived in cuoluozi, large tents. Even today they are representatives of these peoples, traditionally engaged in raising horses.
In this city you can recognize the descendants of nomadic hunters and reindeer that once roamed the icy region each year. Most people wear fur coats, and there a topic as controversial as the hunting of animals for their fur clothing is not a problematic issue, because wearing fur here is not a luxury but a necessity.
The city is connected with other towns along the road Lena, but getting there should take the ferry along the river in summer or cross the frozen river in winter. Many people visit this region when excursions to Lake Baikal. Therefore, both Yakutsk and the wider region attract many eco-tourists and scientists. It recommends visiting the nearby town of Magan, a traditional village where even today preserves the traditions typical of Yakut, such as reindeer husbandry.
Yakutsk has a few theaters and museums. Highlights include the Museum of the Mammoth and museums devoted to history and culture of the Sakha region. Another famous site is the theater of Sakha, or Sakha, who now has a new building located in one of the most important squares, the Plaza Oyuunsky. It is worth visiting the Spassky Monastery, which dates from 1664.
Another landmark of the city is Kulakovsky Street, one of the main streets. Yakutsk University hosts the Academy of Sciences of Russia, and has one of the major centers of study cosmofísica and permafrost.
For the cold steppes of this part of Siberia can still find ancient towers of the fortresses. There is Several Ostrog dating from 1683. The Lensky Ostrog, or strong Lensky, who later became the city, was founded in 1632.
Yakutsk is without doubt one of the coldest cities on Earth, where the average temperature of -10 º C. slashing During the long winter months, the city reaches -50 degrees C, although during the short summer months the temperature may surprise more than 30 º C.
The Lena River, which runs from the city, attracts many tourists during the summer months. Several cruise ships pass through the city, and tourists can enjoy the beauty of Siberian nature. The best views can be enjoyed near the Lena Pillars. The pillars are a rock formation that taper along the side of the river Lena.
