Learn in this article the main characteristics of each of the ski resorts to be prepared and plan your trip.

Mendoza
Penitentes
In Las Heras, Mendoza, is this important center. With 28 runs for skiing at all levels. Activities may include: Alpine Skiing, Nordic, extreme, snowboarding, sledding, heli-ski and skills. In addition, international events are held here every year.
The high season runs approximately from 15 June to 31 August. Its highest point is 3194 meters and the base, 2580. It is accessed through eight lifts. The tracks are distributed according to the level of skiers.
Las Lenas
Suitable for Andean skiing, snowmobiling and snowboarding in its seven tracks, this center is located in the Villa Las Lenas, 70 kilometers from the city of Malargue. Here we use snow made if weather conditions so require and snow tubing system. It has a great infrastructure and inns and restaurants in the area are high level. Its season runs from July 12 to August 1. The base is at 2200 meters and its highest elevation, 3300.
Neuquén
Caviahue
Located in the Villa Caviahue, is called “Snow Village” because the landscape remains snowed for six months. It is 15 km from the Baths of Copahue. This is a smaller center with all the essential services for skiers and surrounded by a spectacular forest of Araucaria.

The season begins July 5 and ends Aug. 8. The base is nearly 1600 meters and 3000, its highest summit.
Chapelco
In Chapelco, 21 kilometers from the beautiful city of San Martin de los Andes, is this ski resort, the most familiar. You will have progressive tracks for each level of practitioner. Cerro Bayo

La Hoya

Here you can Andean skiing and snowboard and enjoy the snow park to freestyle. We recommend you go between 20 June and 4 July and 19 August to 12 October.
Tierra del Fuego
Cerro Castor
It is 26 kilometers from Ushuaia, the city in the world and is the most exclusive ski resort in the country. The orientation of the mountain and its wonderful location gives excellent quality at the snow. You can snowboard and ski the Andes.
It has 24 tracks and a well maintained snow park throughout the summer to enjoy the best in the snow season. It runs from 12 July to 14 September.
