Internet and Peru as A Tourist Destination

More than a decade ago, to prepare a trip was a matter of collecting magazines, advice from friends or relatives or go on an adventure, without much knowledge of the destination or its people or customs. Currently this situation change for the traveler – today with the wonder of the internet you have the whole world with just one click. Peru 20 years ago was a destination full of problems: insecure, collapsed roads, lack of infrastructure and chaos everywhere (strikes, attacks and other disasters). Peru in the late 80s was a country at risk of disintegration and a truly of “adventure” which very few “brave” chose to spend your holiday, let alone Peruvians themselves. 20 years later, a technological advance has revolutionized the world: the Internet. In cyberspace we can find the most incredible information and opinions with certainty. On all the issues and the travel, which is the subject at hand in this note.
Hotels, routes, customs, means of transport, etc. all at a click. And this country, stands as a desired destination for thousands of people who dream of traveling to a place of wonder that has everything, from arid coasts through peak above six thousand feet to reach extensive forests. Needless to say their ancient customs, gastronomy unparalleled living cultures and beaten people (despite what it said a misfit baseball).
But with these facilities on the web, have they killed the companies? Is it unnecessary to resort to a specialist who facilitates us to travel? Some who believe they know everything, tell the world that no longer needs professional people in tourism. But this claim is not true: no, because individuals and travel agents will always be necessary, to the extent that protect the interests of travelers, they provide reliable information and offer them at reasonable prices. Traveling on your account always has its cons: Peru and many countries are unpredictable, times and dates of the transportation change constantly and without notice. A scheduled trip with times and dates will result in erroneous days lost, unnecessary expenses and even worse to disastrous vacation.
Needless to say, the absence of a sales agent we suggest best routes, give us discounts if we not enjoy ourselves or do we just remember to bring mosquito repellent or mosquito areas or jacket as the weather changed: instead of the usual heat, the days are cold and rainy.
