Many travelers in the world are implementing several decades since a new form of travel where the money is not necessary. The crewing lets you work on a cruise ship or other vessel and at the same time to travel and enjoy. In this paper you will learn everything you need for crewing and not die trying. Because now everyone can travel.

Hundreds of years ago were really few people could travel by sea, only those who knew about navigation or who dared to use in a boat. When tourism does not exist and everything was away, the sailors were men of the world and in their retinas had stories of strange places, which they had when they arrived at their home, creating wonderful legends and stories.

Now it seems that everything is easier, but it is also true that to travel a lot to save in a year or more. So if you do not have enough money or just like to travel and work at the same time, the crewing is the best option.

What is crewing?
Crewing is the services that require certain shipping companies for work on board. The interesting thing is that there are various possibilities to engage in one of these works, and under different time frames. If you’ve ever dreamed of traveling, and get paid for it, this is your chance.

Neither sailor or captain … or yes
Among the possibilities offered by crewing can be not only maintenance personnel, such as cleaning or engineer, there are also boats which include masseurs, doctors, nurses, cooks and in the case of leisure boats, party entertainers (magicians, jugglers, clowns), dancers, singers, croupiers, physical education, dance, translators, barman … the possibilities are many, but the requirements are too. There are also specialized diving boats or snorkeling instructor where jobs are in high demand.

The mode of operation is usually round in the same boat, and you can enjoy the cities and ports that you get to know in a short period of time, but enjoying the most of those days.

For boaters there is also the option of being masters of luxury yachts and skippers of sailboats rented by leisure travelers. But this option we have our years of practice and navigation made.

Another new alternative in this area is the opportunity to work for masters of yachts or sailboats for lack of time need to carry their boats from one port to another and pay for other captains to perform this task. You could say that this is almost the dream job. The possibility of carrying navigation from city to city can take a tour of the greater number of destinations in the shortest possible time, as opposed to a cruise that usually runs a single region, with few stops in cities. Bear in mind what kind of boat you’re pointing as many of them allow tourists to have one of the best views from the boat, but you have to work very little and enjoy the journey. The trips that make a journey by sea, such as those that go to the glaciers, are the best choice for tourists, while those with several stops in different cities will be the best choice for the traveler who makes crewing.

What you need
To get to work on a ship need to be specialists in any of the activities you listed above. Also know several languages, English is almost obligatory in all, and finally have a good level of general culture. The alternatives are chosen by young people in the area of the kitchen, working as assistant chef, barman, dishwasher and all culinary activities engaged on a boat. For some of these tasks must submit verifiable references of previous work, while others such as those for cleaning will be more accessible to inexperienced travelers.

Travel and work: two for one
When you’re selecting what work you can sign up, you can watch not only your job skills, but also in the time zone that requires work. It is useful to know in advance the cruise or boat stops and coordinate the work schedule to be able to descend to land as many times. If the city tours are scheduled in the afternoon, the best working hours will be morning or night, and similarly for other alternatives. However, if you have no idea of the timeline of the ship, working at night is the most popular choice for experienced travelers. Because passengers must sleep on the boat, going out to cities and the best views are made to the sunlight, so working at night you will get the most out of your trip.

If your resume allows you to sign up on more specific tasks such as event organizer, chef, dealer and other skilled jobs, the pay is better but depending on the responsibility assigned to you, some of these tasks often have full-time schedules. To escape these works do not need anything else to ask what are the options with less workload, because sometimes, even if you have experience, it is best to take those tasks that will help you fulfill your dream of travel.

The trip after work
Another option you have and one of the favorites are those trips where the pleasure comes after several weeks. It occurs mainly in ships that stop at several cities where the trip is round trip. In this case the work is usually in the kitchen or cleaning the area. Once you arrive at your destination you’ll have a couple of days to tour the city without anything stop you.

Where to begin your search
There are many companies who are responsible for looking for people willing to work for these boats, most is European or American, but you’re patiently in the network where you can find agencies send your CV and hopefully that dream desired trip.

However, be careful because not all firms are good level. If ever you ask for money to upload your data you send, as it is very likely to be a hoax.

As extra information that is currently not easy to find work on merchant ships, as supply far exceeds demand, and since the attacks on the Twin Towers the safety and security conditions have tightened the possibility of traveling passenger and as a worker in short time spans.

It is known for its high economic growth that has transformed the city from a fishing village into a megalopolis filled with lights, businesses and all kinds of technologies.

The city’s cultural landscape is closely related to the religious landscape. There is hundreds of Taoist and Buddhist temples scattered throughout the city. Highlights include the City God Taoist Temple in the heart of the oldest part of downtown. Wenmiamo The temple is dedicated to Confucius. Among the most famous Buddhist temples and spectacular is the Longhua Temple, the largest temple in the city. It also highlights the Jing’an Temple and the Jade Buddha Temple, named after a large statue of Buddha made from jade found inside the temple. Shanghai also has several Christian churches, among which stands the Cathedral of San Ignacio. She Shan Basilica is a basilica that even today attracts Christian pilgrims from across China.

The city is situated on the banks of the Yangtze River. One of the most famous bridges across the city is the bridge Waibaidu. This bridge is a part of the city known as the Bund and the first steel bridge in China and a symbol of the city.

The region of the Bund is one of the busiest districts of the city, the Huangpu District. At the center of this region in the west bank of Huangpu River, is the famous Zhongshan, which runs in an almost circular around the neighborhood, dating from the 1930s. In this neighborhood, one of the most visited by tourists since its original and traditional, is also commercial sites. One of the oldest parks in the city is Huangpu Park, a small park. Within the park is the Monument to the Heroes of Population. Here also is the Bund Historical Museum, with several exhibitions and photo galleries that teach us the region has evolved through the years.

The Bund area is full of historic buildings dating from British colonial era. Buildings stand out as the Customs decorated with the famous bell Big Chang, or the Bank of China, all done with such different styles as Gothic, Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque.

Shanghai is the Shanghai Museum, a museum dedicated to the ancient Chinese art. This museum is located in the Town Square. The museum has one of the largest collections of ancient Chinese art, with more than 120,000 pieces of bronze, ceramics, and scrolls full of calligraphy, jade artifacts, coins and sculptures. There are also several exhibitions of ancient art from other countries and modern art. Among the exhibits include artifacts of national importance, as the clear mirror of the Han Dynasty bronze

People’s Square is undoubtedly the most famous square in the city where now the square was a racetrack. Now here is the Shanghai Museum and several conference rooms. In this square there are also other interesting places such as Shanghai Municipality, and famous Shanghai Grand Theatre.

Nearby is the old Nanshi district, formerly part of the walled city of Shanghai. Part of the square is decorated with the People’s Park, a beautiful public park. Here is the City God Temple and the Yuyuan Gardens impressive. These gardens, designed during the Ming Dynasty in the sixteenth century, have been rebuilt over the centuries, and today combine traditional Chinese architecture with ponds and pavilions.

Other museums that stand out are the Shanghai Art Museum and the Museum of Natural History in Shanghai. Among other famous historic sites underlines the place where they held the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which now houses a museum.

Among other tourist and cultural attractions of the city include the Shanghai Ballet Company and the Symphony Orchestra and Shanghai Philharmonic. The streets of old Shanghai are full of traditional shikumen, stone houses interconnected.

Huangpu District has, for many years, most commercial center around Shanghai. One of the most famous streets is the street of Nanjing East, a street frequented by tourists from both home and abroad. In Fuzhou Street is a street that has more bookstores of all kinds in the city, with all types of libraries and hundreds of thousands of books.

Another district that stands out is the district of Pudong, definitely more modern and futuristic. Emphasize the Pearl TV Tower East, with its imposing 468 meters high. Jin Mao Tower, with its 88 floors also features prominently in the skyline. The highest tower in all of China, the Shanghai World Financial Center, also decorates the banks of the river with its 492 meters high.

Shanghai managed to bring economic growth spurt during the second half-century, and therefore is considered the city where everything is created modern China. The city is full of transport faster, more unusual shops and the best technologies, its magnetic levitation train that can travel 30 kilometers from the city to the airport in less than 8 minutes. The transport is considered the fastest and most efficient in the world.

Shanghai is a city dominated by skyscrapers. Many of these buildings are used for both businesses and residences, and the top restaurants are often constructed that resemble flying saucers with panoramic views across the city.

Lijiang is an and quaint town in Yunan, a province of China which is well endowed with magnificent and beautiful mountains, rivers and a long history. The ancient Lijiang county was put into the list of world cultural legacy by the World Legacy Committee of the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization in 1997.

The city of Lijiang has a history of 800 years or 900 years dating from the Sung Dynasty. Why is Lijiang one of the most beautiful city in the world? Firstly, it is one of the very few city which is over a mile high above sea level. Smacked in the middle of the Lijiangba Dam, surrounded by snowcapped mountains and a river that runs through an oriental forest with small streams meandering into the town. Some tourists even called the town “Heaven On Earth”.

Lijiang experienced an earth shattering 7 on the Richter scale earthquake on February 1996 which killed more than 5,000 people mainly the Naxi community being the major community in Lijiang. Since then, Lijiang caught the attention of the world and tourism growth was unprecedented. As such, Lijiang is now one of the most favoured tourist travel destination in China.

Most residents in Lijiang are of the Naxi tribe. The Naxi community makes a living by herding yaks and doing small retail businesses. The construction of the ancient Lijiang city was quickly developed in the Ming Dynasty. This is especially so because the Ming Dynasty made a large number of people in Anhui Province to migrate into Lijiang in order to station military troops and common people in the boundary areas.

As a result of this mass migration, the buildings of Lijiang ancient city were very much influenced by the architectural style of Anhui Province. The original buildings of the Naxi community can only be found in the rural areas surrounding Lijiang City.

The Yuan dynasty and the Mongol Emperor then, Kublai Khan stationed military troops in Lijiang in 1253. He brought the foreign culture alien to Lijiang and thus Lijiang was then influenced by the culture Central China, such as Buddhism and Taoism, and then affected by the Christianity and Islamic culture in the early 1900s. The Naxi community assimilated all these cultures. As such, Lijiang is also very much appreciated for its cultural landscape not only in China, but the entire Asia.

Millions of tourists travel to Lijiang each year to enjoy Lijiang’s primitive simplicity, tranquility and elegant culture. The folks at Lijiang enjoy music too. You can hear the beautiful music from the dwelling houses in Dayanzhen Town. The musicians carry their often home made musical instruments to take part in household parties all over the town.

The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang is perhaps one the most beautiful mountain range in the world, famous for its perilous, beautiful and breathtaking landscapes. The mountain is a world class tourist scenic spot. The peak of the Jade Dragon Mountain is some 5596 meters (about 17,000 ft) above sea level. The mountain’s thirteen peaks viewed from south to north look just like a flying giant Chinese dragon. A very formidable view indeed.

China has perhaps one of the most beautiful, most historic and most immense cultures in the world. China is home to almost 1.5 billion people with an almost equal distribution of males and females. The political affiliation of China has caused a lot of pressure from other countries. China is one of the last communist countries. Land and water mass totals nearly 10 million square kilometers, China is almost as large as the United States.

The history associated with China is rich and filled with knowledge. Being such an old civilization, China has am enormous number of citizens. This large number of people has resulted in a story involving population control that the world has watched unfold. China has a one-child policy. Only one child per family is allowed to those falling under China citizenship. This controversial policy has made China into one of the oldest nations in the world: China has a huge, growing population of people over the age of 70.

The majority of the income of China is made through the exportation of goods to other countries. Only a small number of Chinese citizens are actual farmers. Over the centuries, China has depleted a majority of the country natural resources. In addition, China has a growing pollution problem and suffers from the deterioration of the surrounding environment. This problem is exaggerated by the exponential growth of the population when compounded with the exponential degradation of the soil. This is one of the reasons for the poverty limit being over 10%.

In 1733, in another part of the world, Josiah Spode was born into a pauper?s life. His father taught him a trade that would serve him well after his father?s death when Josiah Spode was only 6 years old. However, this death only seemed to inspire the young Spode. Spode became an apprentice to one of the most reputable potters of that day. There, Spode would stay until his 21st birthday. Shortly after, Spode would start his own business. Perhaps the greatest legacy Spode left for the world today was his discovery of the recipe for Fine Bone China.

Today, England still remains the leader in Fine Bona China. With traditional family recipes being passed from one generation to the next, England offers sophistication and superb quality to all the Fine Bone China it produces. The Fine Bone China produced offers a dignified excellence to the purchaser. Even today Fine Bone China manufacturers pride themselves in bringing us simply the best of what England has to offer in collectibles and tableware.

As is obvious, China is a word that brings forth images of true beauty and true grace. Whether you consider the country or creation of tableware and collectibles, China is a marvelous example of human spirit and fulfillment. Whether you choose to explore a possible vacation of the beautifully, exotic China or if you choose to decorate your home and dinner table with the best china in the world, China will forever hold special meaning to our spirit.

Planning to take a vacation? Do you know what you really like to do? it could make your vacation even more meaningful. Many travelers go on a trip that friends and relatives recommend, but is it what they really want? You should start planning early and know what you really want to accomplish.

Ask yourself the following questions before starting to plan your vacation; do I want to relax? Do I want adventure or a learning experience? Do I want to get away from my job? When you know the answers to these questions, then you are ready to plan your trip.

Vacations are essential for our emotional, physical and mental balance. You give yourself a chance to relax, renew your energy, free from the daily routine. Vacations could be far away or close to home. Wherever the vacation may be, it does the same thing. It is the satisfaction that is more important than the destination.

There are many different types of travel according to activities involved. Some are listed below:

1. Responsible Travel. Traveling doesn’t always have to be self-serving. With responsible travel, one could have enjoyment as much as respecting the local environment and the people.

2. Rediscovering nature. Rediscovering travel is all about nature and everything in it. It revitalizes the soul while smelling and feeling nature.

3. Responsible Diving. Diving not only let vacationers appreciate what is down in the sea but also making them more aware of the conservation effort.

The country of travel also leaves an indelible mark on the traveler’s diary. Here are some of the most popular destinations today:

1. Thailand. Thailand is also known as Siam. It is an Asian country bounded by Burma, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Behind the back draft of Thailand’s jungles of bamboo, rubber trees and vines are the Five-star hotels of modern conveniences. In some parts of the country, elephants are still being use to lift timbers and buffalo is still being use in farming.

2. China. China is now the second largest country and fastest growing economy in the world. Most parts of China are still unexplored by tourist; however, the eastern portion is now popular to western tourist. First class hotels now offer highest class of amenities and dozens are still being built/

3. Italy. Italy is a boot-like shape country bounded by Switzerland, Austria, France, and Slovenia. The main attraction of Italy is St. Peter’s Square where the Pope resides.

4. Caribbean. Caribbean is an archipelago of islands, 2000 square miles across. Most of the islands are plateaus and eruptions of underlying mountain systems. There are nice beaches of crushed coral and white or pink sand and the water at the shore is a deep blue.

Your vacation success will not depend on how much you spent or on the destination. But how well you enjoyed it and how you were able to achieve the primary goal of “getting away from it all.”

Even as the political climate continues to wax and wane, tourists from all over the world flock to China. Perhaps one of the most exotic destinations for those who love to travel abroad, this ancient country offers a multitude of sites tourists just love to visit. From the natural landscapes to the culture itself, China is a one-of-a-kind tourist destination.

Those who travel to the Orient do so to view a civilization that’s ancient. Perhaps the biggest attraction here are the ancient relics that remind the world – Chinese and visitors alike – that this country is unlike any other in the world. With strong ties to its past and firm roots in the present and future, China is a country that’s distinct.

Four of the biggest stops for tourists include the cities of Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai and Guilin. Here visitors will find a mix of the old and the modern melded in a way that makes both vitally important to the Chinese people. Ancient cultural practices mix with modern technology and ways as reminders of the past peek around every corner. All four destinations offer their own unique draws, but each speaks loudly to the country’s rich history.

Beijing is the country’s capital and gives visitors a real feel for what was, what is and what will be. The city mixes modern conveniences with ancient practice. Shanghai, too, is a bustling metro area that’s known as the country’s financial heartbeat. Keep in mind though that this city, too, is ancient and there’s lots of history to be uncovered. Xi’an is known for its terracotta warriors and horses in the mausoleum of the first emperor. This site is an incredible archeological uncovering and it’s visited by thousands and thousands annually. Guilin is a natural beauty that’s smaller than the other destinations, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t pack a punch.

Those visiting China often come to see the major attractions. Not the least of which, of course, is the Great Wall. This is found in northern China and runs for about 2,000 miles from Jiuquan to Shanhaiguan. This ancient structure was finished in 204 B.C. or thereabouts and includes walls that are fifteen to twenty-five feet thick and more than fifteen feet high!

Mount Taishan is one of the country’s most impressive natural features. It includes 112 peaks and has many temples and ruins to see. It was and is the location for personal pilgrimages and more for thousands of years.

The Beijing Imperial Palace is one of the country’s most incredible man-made features. Second only to the wall in awe factor, this palace has 9,000 rooms.

Even with more open tourism, China remains a land of mystery, one many choose to visit. Those who travel abroad will find the destinations in China are breathtaking and incredible. Few things here are built on a small scale and visitors are as likely to find a connection to the ancient past as they are to enjoy the modernization of cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.

Simatai is the most famous piece of Chinese wall. The same is located northwest of Beijing, China. One of the must-see for anyone wanting to see the best of China. Simatai is one of the wonders of the world classified by UNESCO and is the only route of the wall that retains the original qualities of the construction by the Ming Dynasty. Among the many reasons to visit Simatai can tell that is surrounded by magnificent vegetation in the middle of the mountains (the views are truly breathtaking) and the height of the wall itself is also significant, the highest of all the Chinese wall.

The Simatai wall is divided into two sections: the east and west. The latter was built on a slope less violent than the east, and has a large number of towers in excellent state of preservation. The eastern portion of the wall leaves visitors speechless. The winding construction is distributed all over a mountain range (over 1000 meters high). This section has 15 towers of which is the most fabulous Xiannü tower that allows us to see architectural splendor power used in the construction of Simatai. There is a legend for those visiting the tower, then a platform is a bridge located between two dizzying precipices, and says those who cross that bridge is a hero.

Simatai is, as you can see, one of the most beautiful sections of the wall, but not for anyone looking for a relaxing time walking. As a mountain range located in the slopes are very steep and to be part of the wonders of the world has decided not to alter or renew it, thus keeping its rustic look.

It is one of the main tourist areas of the province and the country by the stunning beauty of its hills, which emerge from the green fields planted with rice, a real postcard. The area of Yangshuo is a popular destination among backpackers worldwide. Located south of China, in a small valley surrounded by karst peaks, the town borders the Li River and is home to an important tourist infrastructure with companies that offer everything from accommodation, to rock climbing trips to achieve panoramic views.

The region is ideal for touring in various forms, from navigating the Li River to the above-climbing, bike rentals for exploring the valley areas and fields, or rental of a balloon to see a true natural wonder as is the area of Yangshuo, but this time from heaven. If you prefer more sports, mountain biking and kayaking are increasingly popular in the region.

The changes in the area of the town of Yangshuo and the region are accelerated, as well as the growth of tourism, which accounts for residents and the ancestral culture in new ways to make a living by providing services widening. Yangshuo is a center for adventure tourism, where almost anything is possible if paying even get traditional ethnic women, pose for a photograph. Among the many offers, I keep the image from the air and Yangshuo for a balloon ride, as pleasant as a gondola ride in Venice, but this time adding the magic of the clouds and fog.

Miyun County, about 100 kilometers from Beijing, is preserved a section of the Great Wall of China away, which by its dilapidated state, is the least visited and known: Simatai. Most of its unrestored sections, have the appearance left by the decay of centuries. The ratio of leaves is probably the difficulty to traverse some of the sections, many of them robust, with slopes so steep that also require skill, knowledge to do real climbing. Although sections of the wall at Simatai are well preserved, are difficult to walk and even dangerous parts. In the area, the landscape becomes more rugged mountains and the wall, reaches some falls on slopes up to 70 ° tilt, so the task of climbing is more like a climber than a mere pedestrian.

Simatai Great Wall is located just 120 kilometers northeast of Beijing, and is about 5.4 kilometers long. The dilapidated state of course does not detract from its beauty, in a rugged mountain landscape and at the same time attractive. Therefore, to simplify matters, in the most abrupt, there is a cable car that brings us closer to the upper zone, and a zip across to descend on a small pond. Simatai was originally built during the Qi Dynasty and rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty, the only section of the wall that retains all the original features of the constructive period of the Ming Dynasty.

The Simatai section offers a unique route with steep sections and vertigo able to impress not only ride, but for letting the feat understanding involves the construction of the wall in such conditions. The highlight and recommend the Wall Simatai is the tower “lookout Beijing at an altitude of 986 meters to visualize the big city, especially at night with their magical blanket of lights. Simatai is certainly a stretch recommended for most intrepid tourists, those who dare to defy the Great Wall to protect forever some unique panoramic view of the emblem more representative of China in memory.

Anyone who has visited the Great Wall, you have probably experienced the same problems as most have to walk this and many other monuments of Chinese architecture: the number of people and the total reconstruction of the monument, making it lose its originality. But there are many tours ready for the adventure tourist, who wants a ride different and excluded from wealthy views as is often the typical rides on traditional circuits.

One is the traversed 10 kilometers on the wall, which includes two different tracks: the first is called Jinshanling Great Wall, which has a semi reconstructed path, away from the first run (Bendaling) that is closer Beijing. Jinshanling is a large expanse of wall that is hardly visited by most tourists because of its remoteness and general lack of knowledge. It has stunning scenery that displays the route of the wall along the mountains, with parts in very good condition. The second part of the journey is called Simatai. This is a little more removed from above and presents a different landscape: the wall damaged and corroded by time, but in its original condition without rebuilding. It may not sound very tempting to state it, but it’s a different experience that ensures highly original landscapes.

While the journey is long and in several areas the wall presents many difficulties, it’s worth a quiet walk along the old stone bricks without suffering at the time of taking a photograph. In many hotels, hostels and tourism agencies are guided tours for this unique journey, which although a little more expensive than the original, as you visit two courses, worth making sure.
