Since this region was virtually from the world until the 1960s, the country’s traditional culture is still present in the entire region. The Buddhist religion has great influence in the neighboring country of India.

Apart from the magnificent Buddhist temples, one also has the opportunity to visit the temples of the Hindu religion, the other religious movement in the country.

The strengths, called Dzong, fill the streets of cities, and are the representatives of the architecture of Bhutan.

Changlimithang Stadium is the largest and most famous of the country, having once held the major football games and archery championships. Archery is one of the most famous sports in the country and is often seen as an opportunity to socialize with team members, other people or with new people. During the archery competitions are held dances and local foods are served. The game of darts, or khuru, is also very popular among the population.

Bhutan’s streets are full of color. While men usually wear a dress called gho, like a tunic to the knees, the women wear the kira, a long dress and scarves are very important because they can see social status.

The dress of the citizens for important occasions or ceremonies driglam namzha governed by a kind of code created in the seventeenth century. This code also includes guidelines for formal occasions such as the construction aspects of the traditional dzongs or the celebration of religious holidays. During construction of dzongs, for example, do not allow the use of nails. Therefore, these architectural curiosities are the most recognized in the country.

The traditional Buddhist dance called the Cham Dance is held during the Tsechu party, a party that celebrates the tenth day of one of the lunar months, usually in October. The festival is held in each district, or dzongkhag, and members of the Academy of Performing Arts and the dancers represent the Cham Dance, dressed in colorful clothes and masks.

The city of Lhasa is also known as the Holy City, and is in Tibet. The city is the great spiritual center of Buddhism.

The top of the Potala is undoubtedly one of the most recognized of the city. Above the top is the famous and easily identifiable plant thirteen building was the seat of spiritual leader Dalai Lama. The fort was originally a winter palace, but later became the seat of the Dalai Lama. The building is painted red and white with golden roofs that shine over the sacred city. The building is presiding over the mountain from the seventeenth century. Today the fortress is a museum, a mere reflection of his old glory. However, it is said that the thousand rooms of the palace remain intact.

Although Potala is undoubtedly the most remarkable site of the city, in the second emphasizes the spiritual heart of the city, the Jokhang Temple. This temple, covered with a golden roof, has more than 1300 years old. The temple is combining the influences of various places, such as the same Tibet, India, Nepal culture or Chinese culture. The custom dictates that the devotees follow the kora, when the faithful walk in a circle around the temple, located near Barkhor, the commercial district. Inside the temple are more than 200 statues of Buddha surrounded by hundreds of candles reflected in the temple. Among the statues also houses the largest Buddha statue.

The city is over 3600 meters high and very near the northern Himalayas. The eastern part of the city is more and more traditional Tibetan influences, while the western part of the city has more Chinese influences and better services.

While you visit this amazing city, we recommend visiting the Norbulingka Summer Palace, built by the Seventh Dalai Lama in the mid eighteenth century. Now in the territory of the Old Palace are zoo and several botanical gardens. Visitors could also view the Drepung Monastery, founded in 1416. They may also see the Monsaterio Sera, founded in 1419. If you’re interested in history and culture of the country should visit the Tibet Museum, an interesting museum where you will find all sorts of gadgets.

Walking through the streets of Tibet, one must prove the thousands of local delicacies and traditional tea drinking. The best treats for the palate are the thugpa and varieties of local cuisine. If you visit the Barkhor market, may bargain to buy the traditional Tibetan rugs.

Planning to take a vacation? Do you know what you really like to do? it could make your vacation even more meaningful. Many travelers go on a trip that friends and relatives recommend, but is it what they really want? You should start planning early and know what you really want to accomplish.

Ask yourself the following questions before starting to plan your vacation; do I want to relax? Do I want adventure or a learning experience? Do I want to get away from my job? When you know the answers to these questions, then you are ready to plan your trip.

Vacations are essential for our emotional, physical and mental balance. You give yourself a chance to relax, renew your energy, free from the daily routine. Vacations could be far away or close to home. Wherever the vacation may be, it does the same thing. It is the satisfaction that is more important than the destination.

There are many different types of travel according to activities involved. Some are listed below:

1. Responsible Travel. Traveling doesn’t always have to be self-serving. With responsible travel, one could have enjoyment as much as respecting the local environment and the people.

2. Rediscovering nature. Rediscovering travel is all about nature and everything in it. It revitalizes the soul while smelling and feeling nature.

3. Responsible Diving. Diving not only let vacationers appreciate what is down in the sea but also making them more aware of the conservation effort.

The country of travel also leaves an indelible mark on the traveler’s diary. Here are some of the most popular destinations today:

1. Thailand. Thailand is also known as Siam. It is an Asian country bounded by Burma, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Behind the back draft of Thailand’s jungles of bamboo, rubber trees and vines are the Five-star hotels of modern conveniences. In some parts of the country, elephants are still being use to lift timbers and buffalo is still being use in farming.

2. China. China is now the second largest country and fastest growing economy in the world. Most parts of China are still unexplored by tourist; however, the eastern portion is now popular to western tourist. First class hotels now offer highest class of amenities and dozens are still being built/

3. Italy. Italy is a boot-like shape country bounded by Switzerland, Austria, France, and Slovenia. The main attraction of Italy is St. Peter’s Square where the Pope resides.

4. Caribbean. Caribbean is an archipelago of islands, 2000 square miles across. Most of the islands are plateaus and eruptions of underlying mountain systems. There are nice beaches of crushed coral and white or pink sand and the water at the shore is a deep blue.

Your vacation success will not depend on how much you spent or on the destination. But how well you enjoyed it and how you were able to achieve the primary goal of “getting away from it all.”

Even as the political climate continues to wax and wane, tourists from all over the world flock to China. Perhaps one of the most exotic destinations for those who love to travel abroad, this ancient country offers a multitude of sites tourists just love to visit. From the natural landscapes to the culture itself, China is a one-of-a-kind tourist destination.

Those who travel to the Orient do so to view a civilization that’s ancient. Perhaps the biggest attraction here are the ancient relics that remind the world – Chinese and visitors alike – that this country is unlike any other in the world. With strong ties to its past and firm roots in the present and future, China is a country that’s distinct.

Four of the biggest stops for tourists include the cities of Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai and Guilin. Here visitors will find a mix of the old and the modern melded in a way that makes both vitally important to the Chinese people. Ancient cultural practices mix with modern technology and ways as reminders of the past peek around every corner. All four destinations offer their own unique draws, but each speaks loudly to the country’s rich history.

Beijing is the country’s capital and gives visitors a real feel for what was, what is and what will be. The city mixes modern conveniences with ancient practice. Shanghai, too, is a bustling metro area that’s known as the country’s financial heartbeat. Keep in mind though that this city, too, is ancient and there’s lots of history to be uncovered. Xi’an is known for its terracotta warriors and horses in the mausoleum of the first emperor. This site is an incredible archeological uncovering and it’s visited by thousands and thousands annually. Guilin is a natural beauty that’s smaller than the other destinations, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t pack a punch.

Those visiting China often come to see the major attractions. Not the least of which, of course, is the Great Wall. This is found in northern China and runs for about 2,000 miles from Jiuquan to Shanhaiguan. This ancient structure was finished in 204 B.C. or thereabouts and includes walls that are fifteen to twenty-five feet thick and more than fifteen feet high!

Mount Taishan is one of the country’s most impressive natural features. It includes 112 peaks and has many temples and ruins to see. It was and is the location for personal pilgrimages and more for thousands of years.

The Beijing Imperial Palace is one of the country’s most incredible man-made features. Second only to the wall in awe factor, this palace has 9,000 rooms.

Even with more open tourism, China remains a land of mystery, one many choose to visit. Those who travel abroad will find the destinations in China are breathtaking and incredible. Few things here are built on a small scale and visitors are as likely to find a connection to the ancient past as they are to enjoy the modernization of cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.

Simatai is the most famous piece of Chinese wall. The same is located northwest of Beijing, China. One of the must-see for anyone wanting to see the best of China. Simatai is one of the wonders of the world classified by UNESCO and is the only route of the wall that retains the original qualities of the construction by the Ming Dynasty. Among the many reasons to visit Simatai can tell that is surrounded by magnificent vegetation in the middle of the mountains (the views are truly breathtaking) and the height of the wall itself is also significant, the highest of all the Chinese wall.

The Simatai wall is divided into two sections: the east and west. The latter was built on a slope less violent than the east, and has a large number of towers in excellent state of preservation. The eastern portion of the wall leaves visitors speechless. The winding construction is distributed all over a mountain range (over 1000 meters high). This section has 15 towers of which is the most fabulous Xiannü tower that allows us to see architectural splendor power used in the construction of Simatai. There is a legend for those visiting the tower, then a platform is a bridge located between two dizzying precipices, and says those who cross that bridge is a hero.

Simatai is, as you can see, one of the most beautiful sections of the wall, but not for anyone looking for a relaxing time walking. As a mountain range located in the slopes are very steep and to be part of the wonders of the world has decided not to alter or renew it, thus keeping its rustic look.

The landscapes of Yangshuo, in Guangxi Province, leaves no room for indifference. It is one of the main tourist areas of the province and the country by the stunning beauty of its hills, which emerge from the green fields planted with rice, a real postcard. The area of Yangshuo is a popular destination among backpackers worldwide. Located south of China, in a small valley surrounded by karst peaks, the town borders the Li River and is home to an important tourist infrastructure with companies that offer everything from accommodation, to rock climbing trips to achieve panoramic views.

The region is ideal for touring in various forms, from navigating the Li River to the above-climbing, bike rentals for exploring the valley areas and fields, or rental of a balloon to see a true natural wonder as is the area of Yangshuo, but this time from heaven. If you prefer more sports, mountain biking and kayaking are increasingly popular in the region.

The changes in the area of the town of Yangshuo and the region are accelerated, as well as the growth of tourism, which accounts for residents and the ancestral culture in new ways to make a living by providing services widening. Yangshuo is a center for adventure tourism, where almost anything is possible if paying even get traditional ethnic women, pose for a photograph. Among the many offers, I keep the image from the air and Yangshuo for a balloon ride, as pleasant as a gondola ride in Venice, but this time adding the magic of the clouds and fog.

Miyun County, about 100 kilometers from Beijing, is preserved a section of the Great Wall of China away, which by its dilapidated state, is the least visited and known: Simatai. Most of its unrestored sections, have the appearance left by the decay of centuries. The ratio of leaves is probably the difficulty to traverse some of the sections, many of them robust, with slopes so steep that also require skill, knowledge to do real climbing. Although sections of the wall at Simatai are well preserved, are difficult to walk and even dangerous parts. In the area, the landscape becomes more rugged mountains and the wall, reaches some falls on slopes up to 70 ° tilt, so the task of climbing is more like a climber than a mere pedestrian.

Simatai Great Wall is located just 120 kilometers northeast of Beijing, and is about 5.4 kilometers long. The dilapidated state of course does not detract from its beauty, in a rugged mountain landscape and at the same time attractive. Therefore, to simplify matters, in the most abrupt, there is a cable car that brings us closer to the upper zone, and a zip across to descend on a small pond. Simatai was originally built during the Qi Dynasty and rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty, the only section of the wall that retains all the original features of the constructive period of the Ming Dynasty.

The Simatai section offers a unique route with steep sections and vertigo able to impress not only ride, but for letting the feat understanding involves the construction of the wall in such conditions. The highlight and recommend the Wall Simatai is the tower “lookout Beijing at an altitude of 986 meters to visualize the big city, especially at night with their magical blanket of lights. Simatai is certainly a stretch recommended for most intrepid tourists, those who dare to defy the Great Wall to protect forever some unique panoramic view of the emblem more representative of China in memory.

Anyone who has visited the Great Wall, you have probably experienced the same problems as most have to walk this and many other monuments of Chinese architecture: the number of people and the total reconstruction of the monument, making it lose its originality. But there are many tours ready for the adventure tourist, who wants a ride different and excluded from wealthy views as is often the typical rides on traditional circuits.

One is the traversed 10 kilometers on the wall, which includes two different tracks: the first is called Jinshanling Great Wall, which has a semi reconstructed path, away from the first run (Bendaling) that is closer Beijing. Jinshanling is a large expanse of wall that is hardly visited by most tourists because of its remoteness and general lack of knowledge. It has stunning scenery that displays the route of the wall along the mountains, with parts in very good condition. The second part of the journey is called Simatai. This is a little more removed from above and presents a different landscape: the wall damaged and corroded by time, but in its original condition without rebuilding. It may not sound very tempting to state it, but it’s a different experience that ensures highly original landscapes.

While the journey is long and in several areas the wall presents many difficulties, it’s worth a quiet walk along the old stone bricks without suffering at the time of taking a photograph. In many hotels, hostels and tourism agencies are guided tours for this unique journey, which although a little more expensive than the original, as you visit two courses, worth making sure.
