Known as the Rainbow Region, the capital of freedom, an area of great value Australian Aboriginal cultures is also home to the counterculture in New South Wales and 30 miles north of Lismore. Especially in recent decades, the region and especially the small town of Nimbin, has earned a reputation as a land of freedom. In Nibim coexist occupying properties rural hippie commune and the town’s population that barely exceeds 300. However, what draws the attention of many is the lifestyle of many residents.

In Nimbin, Alternative everything is always in style. Land of writers, artists, musicians, actors, environmentalists and practitioners of permaculture in Nimbin seems that each finds its place. Nimbin Another distinctive feature is the high tolerance to the sale and consumption of cannabis, a very visible and open purchase in the streets of the city, despite the ban. In fact, May is celebrated in a relaxed festival Mardigrass, a kind of festive activities to call for reform of the law to ban cannabis in Australia. At the festival Mardigrass held peaceful protests, parades, live music and dance parties, always the first weekend in May.

In Nimbin shops oriented work culture of cannabis, and even a museum, always in constant conflict with authority. Nimbin is a foreign eyes a great curiosity, and get tourists in spring and summer every weekend. There are a variety of accommodation to know a social fenóneno much resemblance to an eccentricity, an idea that many take as a new lifestyle.

The hutong, or ancient neighborhoods of the big city areas are replaced by rearranged in a modern style. Fortunately for those tourists seeking China’s idyllic postcards, there are numerous places to find them. Among them, in the town of Lijiang, remains a large area due to the ingrained habits of their ancestral population, it appears as if nothing had changed for centuries. Lijiang is also a charming city, a strange urban fabric, with channels and hundreds of bridges in the style “Venice” but in the opposite hemisphere.

The city of Lijiang has a history of more than 800 years. Its narrow streets with typical houses built in the historic area, with a system of canals and bridges, as well as the traditions and customs, earned him recognition as World Heritage by UNESCO, a title which paradoxically attracted a take-off tour that ended at threatening its essence. Lijiang experienced its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties, when they built many temples and notable buildings. Located northwest of Yunnan Province, is one of the most picturesque of the PRC, both its past and by how well it was preserved. Lijiang is too compelling to not visit her, and too perfect to keep it secret.

The Argentine northwest us closer to our ancient culture, the indigenous, the folklore, although the roots and mine are in Italy, I still identify more with the NOA to the Piedmont countryside. Maybe it’s the passing of so many heroes in these lands, so many years of culture, cities with much history, strong traditions and conservative societies. We have been traveling 2 days ago from Buenos Aires. I crossed the warm Santiago del Estero and did night in San Miguel de Tucuman, we began to move into what will be the Calchaquies Valley, the road is very winding and very thick vegetation. We climb to reach 2000 mts. The landscape is changing significantly, we went from a lush forest, where stands the Monument to the Indian sculptor Calchaquí Tucuman Enrique Prat Gay, clear and colorful meadows. The first stop we made in the Moll, a small village on the south bank of the La Angostura dam where we found the Archaeological Reserve The Menhires. There are hundreds of these exponents of culture stone Tafi, each worked with different expressions and sizes.

The Mollar: ancient stone structures
Crossing the dam we’re almost to Tafi del Valle, our home for a few days, we settled in the cottage we rented and went out to enjoy this beautiful summer village. The climate of this region is a special guest, as it remains stable and pleasant throughout the year.

Sunset in Tafi del Valle
Missing a few days for The National Cheese Festival, held each February in Tafi, so we can see and taste the typical food Pascanas selling as locro humitas, homemade sausages and desserts like sweet cayote, alfajores of Capio and Of course, the famous cheese tafinisto.

Locro: impossible to pass through this region without enjoyment
We take a tour of the picturesque town center and the exhibition of Tafi, where excel, and throughout the Northwest, the crafts of the area.

A ride through the landscapes that surround the area guided by a Vaqueano, it is imperative to discover the natural surroundings. At night there is always some pain, to share and enjoy music and the typical food of this region. The next day we visited the Jesuit Museum of Banda, where there is a museum, historical, archaeological and religious art, the richness of its heritage and the building is one of the largest in the NOA.

Stay In The rooms are the only cheese that is still producing the original recipe left by the Jesuits in the seventeenth century. As a farewell to this town that energized us and dazzled us with its landscapes, in the afternoon, we went to the Angostura dam, where you can enjoy water sports and relax with a breathtaking sunset. The next morning we journey to the Calchaquies Valley and stopped at La Bourse, an archaeological site, which contains the presence of indigenous architectural expressions, made of stone, built between 300 BC and 800 of the current era. We’re almost to Amaicha Valley to continue to the ruins of Quilmes and Cafayate in Salta, but that is another trip .

From the sea, fishermen San Sebastian perceived as a city with three inputs to ground, one in Mount Igueldo and the Isle of Santa Clara, a second between Santa Clara and Mount Urgull and last fall to Mount Ulia. Irutxulo was called by then as the Basque translation of the phrase “three holes”. This perception of seafood capital of Guipuzcoa seems to get along with movie stars, Michelin and luxury hotel brands in mid-September to gain presence in the International Film Festival. However, the city, named in 1980 as San Sebastian, can become a pleasant discovery for the traveler on low incomes who do not get blinded by its brightness.

The charming buildings that gave it the nickname “Little Paris” in the second half of the nineteenth century emerged from the degree of deference that the regent Maria Cristina granted the city by moving his court there in summer. The “belle epoque” Donostia bequeathed to the twenty-first century luxury buildings like the Victoria Eugenia, Hotel Maria Cristina spas before Trotsky traveled the world war and now only admire the wealthy from their interiors.

Today, the pulse of the city is a voluntary one. Larger two widening is still an affordable area for the traveler who likes to walk the Old Town on foot. It also has an excellent network of buses (night weekends) that connects with people on the periphery and facilitates an excursion to Mount Igueldo or amusement park from the early twentieth century. Although the downtown is the ideal lodging (little chance in shelters in San Sebastian center below 20 €), good communication between neighborhoods have hostels outside as a very economic and, especially during high season. If you decide on this option, we will have the luxury of being neighbors in the natural setting of the museum of sculptor Eduardo Chillida.

The bike, owned or rented, adds to the transport network. In San Sebastian runs about 25 miles of bike lanes, the highest proportion user / longitude of Spain, and has more than 150 parking spots. An excellent opportunity for the passenger does not wear excessive physical or economic efforts and discover that there are beaches beyond La Concha. In swimming season or under the usual rain worth Donostia reach the most remote and untouched, that of Zurriola, nudist since 2004, reaching the Peine del Viento or properly secured the bike, crossing to the island of Santa Clara.

At this point, the capital San Sebastian has already soaked through and not just for its moisture. We have not made much the portfolio and maybe we can afford the 90-minute guided tour organized by the tourist office, the entrance to the Aquarium, Kutxaespacio or a museum. With the multi-card San Sebastian Card (13 € +1 € refundable) will save us between 10 and 30 percent more visitors in these and also free up the bus.
We leave these routes for later and enjoy the gastronomy of the place: the pintxos and Basque cider. In the tradition of the locals, stayed at the Boulevard to go to the street where Fermin Calbetón not of good food will save 1.5 € / 2 € per bite or pull into the harbor Gaztelubide. In addition to savoring a good cod we approach the men who organize activities between clusters.

Another option is the culinary route that starts from the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd to the Maria Cristina Bridge. The outlet of the Gipuzkoa plaza will give us a quiet and beautiful spot to rest as ingested.
Basque identity card with San Sebastian is accustomed to hosting overseas without disregarding the tradition of the land. Its inhabitants seem to have breathed air through the culture of Biscay and festivals have become their benchmark. At Film are added the July Jazz or International Fireworks in August, coinciding with the week Grande. Dates from which to flee the lover of calm or who does not want to pay more for the same in this dazzling city that aspires to be European Capital of Culture 2016.

There is no doubt that every nation has its own chances to celebrate, to express their happiness and their desire to preserve their heritage and Moroccan society also holds many events to carry out that purpose. These celebrations have a symbolic element in which you can see a perfect blend of Islamic symbols and Amazigh. This article will mention some festive occasions Moroccans and some traditions practiced in this fascinating country. Moroccan families celebrate the lives of their children from birth until marriage. First, is the “know” or “Sboa”, celebrated the 7th days after birth the baby and the father slaughters a lamb if the baby is a girl and two for a boy, and gives name the baby. Then, the parents invite all your friend and neighbor as / as to share their joy by naming this new family member.

After celebrated “l’khtana” which is the circumcision of the child. In the past, this operation is often carried caba by a person named “l’Hajjam”, but today is usually carried the child to a doctor to avoid any danger of complications. After surgery, parents organize a big party to celebrate this important event. We also have the “Syam l’Ouel” which means “first day of fasting, when parents are preparing a special meal for your child that is honey, nuts, pastries, etc.. They carry their child, when they treat like a boyfriend or girlfriend, dressed / to with their traditional clothes, the photographer to take some pictures to be kept as a souvenir. All these celebrations are held on this special day to prepare the boy or girl to have this important pillar of Islam.

Besides, the Moroccan society celebrates many special occasions such as the “Aid Al Adha” or the “Aid L’Kbir”, considered the most important event for all Muslims, during which people go in the morning to a organizes special prayer that day. Then return home to slay a lamb, after which prepared the “boulfaf” with the animal’s liver and all family members eat together. In the afternoon, families exchanged visits in the home of one another. Last but not least important, is the day of “Achoura” which was held a month after the “Aid Al Adha and in which mothers prepare couscous with seven vegetables and children practice certain traditions, as the “Bab Aichor. Parents also buy some games and toys for children and women also buy some traditional musical instruments (such as “ta’arija” or “band”). In this special event can appreciate the mixture of religious and cultural or traditional.

So the celebrations in Morocco is a perfect opportunity for Moroccans to reconcile with each other and exchange views in an atmosphere full of love, tolerance and solidarity. Similarly, Moroccan holidays offer the opportunity to discover the popular culture of Morocco, which is an excellent blend between different cultures and reflects the variety and richness of Moroccan cultural heritage in all spheres.

Istanbul, located between east and west, with a majority Muslim population, but with significant Christian and Jewish minorities. It was the capital of Eastern Roman Empire and later the Ottoman Empire, now it has left the Turkish capital of Ankara. And with this mestizo lineage could only offer a varied gastronomy and full of Arab and Mediterranean influences.

One of the most famous dishes of Turkish food is the Doner Kebab, Doner Kebab means that rotates and means grilled meat, which translates into fine pieces of roast lamb, introduced into a delicious pita bread and dressed with a sauce which can be spicy or yogurt and garlic. This Turkish dish can be eaten in all the capitals of Europe, having spread do it with beef or chicken.

Though Turkish cuisine is very rich in fish can taste traditional dishes like Lüfer fish, blue fish of the Bosphorus, or the Bluefish to be the best fish of the Bosphorus and is unknown in Spain. Also, stuffed mussels and fried rice are typical of the peoples of the Aegean coast.

But the most characteristic of Turkish cuisine, apart from the Kebab, are the desserts and tea. Among the Turkish delight, is called by Death Lokum carrying sugar, cream, cornstarch and water. The most valuable fruit for dessert Turks are the peach and strawberry. The Arab influence is left fashioned by the use of cinnamon and taste for pastries.

As can be seen as Turkey has Mediterranean culinary influences as Arabs, although the example of most important foreign culinary influence came from the east, since tea is the most consumed beverage in Turkey, there plenty of different varieties. The funny thing is that the Turks, until a hundred years ago did not know this drink, and be used to make Turkish coffee. In 1924, Derin Zihni, an agronomist, brought tea seeds planted in Georgia and Rize, the wettest city in Turkey. The plant has experienced such success that the Turks take you to breakfast, after lunch and a few more times throughout the day.

There are many schools located throughout Europe, working to organize summer courses in Ireland. Some are based in the named country and other agreements made with Irish institutions so that their students can live there for a while. The summer courses are held in Ireland are responsible not only deliver English programs. We also plan to conduct activities the student: camps, cultural excursions, trips to the mall, theater, drama, visits to national parks etc. The package of the summer course in Ireland offers hours of English course, all meals, recreation and leisure, sports, nights out, dancing and Irish music.

Generally, these courses are organized in the style of cultural exchange, where students may live with an Irish family who stays at home. This family is selected especially for each student, the volunteer list that appears. It can accommodate one, two or three students. The only condition is that they have the resources to support them and give them a warm welcome and stay.

These cultural exchanges are ideal for those students as well as language, want to know the Irish culture. One who wishes to carry out this wonderful experience, will be fascinated with this island, which is often called emerald. When the student arrives in Ireland for one of these summer courses, will surely draw the attention of people in the country. The Irish are very hospitable and friendly, besides having very good manners and be respectful of their tradition. If the student is a lover of music, surely this is the country that you should choose to make their exchange, since there were formed bands recognized around the world. To complete the offer of this great country, we must name your landscape full of mountains, beaches and cliffs.

Most academies or institutions who design the courses, usually upscale NGOs that belong to a network of exchange. There are some services that are provided to the student that such institutions have in common. Among them we can name: English classes with qualified TEL, a maximum of 15 students per class, free e-learning material, cultural and historical information of the destination country, the English certificate upon completion, full board accommodation and all expenses included ( except flights and travel insurance).
