In Vietnamese, “art is my thuat said, which translated literally means” beautiful skill. ” Vietnam’s artists use traditional art to communicate their ideas through music, literature, poetry, dance, drama, painting, sculpture and even architecture. Though Vietnam is a civilization about 4,000 years old, the country has no less majestic monuments like Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Many of Vietnam’s ancient monuments have disappeared as a result of the ravages of war and time, and abandonment. However, despite the destructive forces of nature and war, fortunately nothing has managed to destroy his legacy painting, crafts, architectural, theatrical, musical and literary.
The folk art forms including traditional painting that is made in silk framed array of theater, puppetry, music and dance, religious sculpture and lacquer. The most important part of traditional Vietnamese culture is that of the Roi Nuoc: the Water Puppet show in which actors, musicians, singers and puppets, in a water scene, conduct that you can enjoy delicious performances in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
