Taiwan, the Island of the Asian Tigers

This Island is located in the Pacific Ocean. This particular island, a union between countries, cultures and traditions, meets many interesting aspects from its natural beauty, religious buildings to its most modern.
Religion is a very important part of the culture. Major religions and beliefs are Buddhism and Confucianism, like Taoism. Almost all the buildings traditional forms of entertainment are Buddhists, although Confucianism also tends to have much influence on the daily lives of the inhabitants.
Several different cultures come together in the culture of this Asian island. It is a truly multicultural island, due to the important influences of larger neighbors such as China or Japan, or the ancient empires that colonized the island for years.
The capital, Taipei, is located on the Danshui River. In his overview highlights the Taipei 101 tower, the tallest tower in the city, with 101 floors.
The National Memorial Chiang Kai-shek, erected in memory of Chiang Kai Shek, a Chinese President, deserves a visit, as well as its surroundings. In the surrounding area are the National Theatre and its twin building, the Concert Hall. The National Palace Museum, formed by the Museum and National Art Gallery, presents the interesting and important aspects of the history and traditions of the region.
Hot springs are very common in the island, and many people enjoy them. Due to its popularity and the possibility of relaxation offered by these natural sources, it has built many spas and resorts scattered across the country.
The bubble teas are a very popular drink on the island. Originally, this type of tea was a traditional black tea mixed with milk and tapioca balls. Now you can drink any other liquid, and is very popular among younger people. Its curious shape, with straw to absorb large gelatinous tapioca balls, invites you to try this traditional tea with a modern design.
