Dallas is one of the leading cities of the state of Texas, U.S. This city has some importance as the city where he was assassinated John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963.
Dallas has a population of 1.2 million people, and is the third largest city in the state of Texas. The city was founded in 1841 and became an official city in February 1856. The city grew rapidly due to the importance of oil and cotton plantations, and later became the third largest city in the amount of companies in the Fortune 500. Here almost all the old industrial buildings have been converted into artists’ studios and galleries, with murals covering almost every wall. Another site registered on the National Register of Historic Places is the Union Station, the main city, also known as the Dallas Union Terminal. The building is the most recognized in the city for the recreation of a mural that depicts the history of Texas.
